Lani’s mother discovered her singing talent when Lani was 5 years old.  Three years later, she was singing at local Opry venues, including the legendary Grapevine Opry, Johnny High Show and Mesquite Opry. At 13, Lani started her own band. They performed at Cowboys, Billy Bob’s Texas, Six Flags Over Texas and Sea World, opening for big name country stars such as Pam Tillis, Shenandoah and Mark Chestnutt.   At age 16, Lani begin performing at Six Flags over Texas in the productions “Hot Rockin’ Country” and “Santa Country” in the Palace Theater.  As a young adult, Lani spent many years traveling back and forth to Nashville recording demos, background vocals and her own music while still performing locally in the DFW area.  She performed at venues such as State Fair of Texas (12 years), AT&T Stadium, Ranger’s Stadium, Gilley’s Dallas,  WinStar, Young Country Fireworks to music and local festivals opening for stars such as Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina, Bryan White, Joe Diffee, The Kinley’s, Ty Herndon, Ricky Skaggs and more.
