About

Lani’s mother discovered her singing talent when Lani was 5 years old.  Three years later, she was singing at local Opry venues, including the legendary Grapevine Opry, Johnny High Show and Mesquite Opry. At 13, Lani started her own band. They performed at Cowboys, Billy Bob’s Texas, Six Flags Over Texas and Sea World, opening for big name country stars such as Pam Tillis, Shenandoah and Mark Chestnutt.   At age 16, Lani begin performing at Six Flags over Texas in the productions “Hot Rockin’ Country” and “Santa Country” in the Palace Theater.  As a young adult, Lani spent many years traveling back and forth to Nashville recording demos, background vocals and her own music while still performing locally in the DFW area.  She performed at venues such as State Fair of Texas (12 years), AT&T Stadium, Ranger’s Stadium, Gilley’s Dallas,  WinStar, Young Country Fireworks to music and local festivals opening for stars such as Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina, Bryan White, Joe Diffee, The Kinley’s, Ty Herndon, Ricky Skaggs and more. The past decade and a half have been spent performing in popular local theater shows such as Granbury Live, Texas Live in Weatherford and most recently taking over the locally famous Grapevine Opry which she produced and performed in shows for 2  years. Lani has also spent 3 decades working in recording studios, recording demos for songwriters, background vocals for local artists, jingles, commercials and her own music.  Lani has an album out on itunes (Lani Stacy) that she produced with #1 Chart Topper songwriter Bryan Simpson and wrote or co-wrote most of the songs recorded.  After taking a few years off to focus on raising her 4 beautiful daughters, Lani is ready to get back on the scene. With many years in Country music she has decided to add in another love that she has always had....Classic Rock and Rock music. Now with 35+ years of singing and performance experience Lani is ready to take on the DFW music scene again.
